Supervised Study

Home / Students / Supervised Study

An excellent environment for learning is essential and supervised study, here in our school offers all students a valuable opportunity to discipline themselves to concentrate on homework and revision in a warm and friendly atmosphere under the guidance of experienced teachers in our school.

How does supervised study work?

  • For students attending supervised study roll calls are taken on a daily basis and parents are obliged to inform the school if students are not attending study for whatever reason.
  • Student’s behaviour is also monitored very carefully to ensure that all students are working to the best of their ability and strict guidelines of conduct must be adhered to, whilst also ensuring that the school Code of Behaviour is followed.
  • Supervised Study has two terms from September until December, and then again from January until May. It is offered to exam years and it is supported by the Cork City Partnership.

Supervised Study for the next academic year 2023/2024 takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 4pm to 6pm.
