Accessing Your Leaving Certificate Results – August 2025

The State Examinations Commission (SEC) will release the 2025 Leaving Certificate and Leaving Certificate Applied results on Friday, 22 August 2025.

How to Access Your Results

Results will be available through the Candidate Self Service Portal. To log in, you will need:

  • Your Examination Number

  • Your Student Portal Account Password

  • Your PPS Number

Calculating Your CAO Points

You can download or use the CAO Points Calculator at:

Key Points to Remember:

  • Only your best six subjects are counted.

  • Extra subjects (7th/8th) are not included unless they are in your top six.

  • If you sit Higher Level Maths and achieve a H6 or better, you receive 25 bonus points.

    • Example: H5 in Higher Maths = 56 + 25 = 81 points.

  • LCVP Link Modules can count as one of your six subjects if they are among your best results:

    • Distinction = 66 points

    • Merit = 46 points

    • Pass = 28 points
