State Examinations: 

Minister for Education & Skills John McHugh TD has confirmed the postponement of the Leaving Certificate 2020 and changes to the Junior Cycle examinations 2020. The Leaving Certificate will now begin on Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 with the timetable available from early June 2020, practicals, and projects are also going ahead.

School Closures:

Primary and Post-Primary schools will continue to remain closed until further notice. It was anticipated schools would reopen after the Easter holiday period, however, based on information provided by the National Public Health Emergency, the Government of Ireland has issued all schools to remain closed until further notice. Therefore, e-learning and remote learning will continue from April 20th until further notice.
