The History Club have returned home after being away on their annual trip. The boys along with Mr. Ryan, Mr. Lynch and Ms O’Connor stayed in the Belgium city of Ypres. The four day trip brought them to a number of important sites around Belgium and France connected with the First World War such as Tyne Cott cemetery, William Redmond’s grave, the Somme and Arras. The boys had an excellent time and even got to get into a recreated WWI trench and even got to experience life in a war time tunnel
