During Flag week the History Club successfully raised a total of €200 by selling pins from the Thomas F. Meagher Foundation. The students then had to decide what charity they would like the money to go to and so opted to donating the money to the Irish Cancer Society. The boys welcomed Gail from the Society who informed them of all the ways the money could be used such as helping to fund the daffodil nurses who visit people affected by cancer in their homes.

The Boys were then very happy to present Gail with a cheque for the money raised along with their teacher Mr. Ryan
