On November 23rd 2016, the Transition Year debate team travelled to Clonakilty Community School where they competed against a 5th year group to debate the topic “International Talks on Climate Change Are a Load of Hot Air”. The North Mon team achieved a unanimous score of 3-0 and progressed further up the Concern Debates League. Their coaches Ms. Hayes, Ms. Harrington and the school were very proud of their result.
