Ice-skating: Information for 1st and 2nd Years

Home / News / School News / Ice-skating: Information for 1st and 2nd Years

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

Students who originally paid for the ice-skating trip in both 1st and 2nd Year will participate in this activity on Tuesday, 2 December.

Students should attend school as normal from 8:55am and will attend their first class. They will then be called to the atrium, where attendance will be taken.

The ice-skating session will take place from 11:10am to 12:10pm. Students are asked to arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled session to allow sufficient time to get to the venue. Students will walk to and from the ice rink under the supervision of their teachers.

As the ice rink is a cold environment and the weather can be unpredictable, students should wear appropriate outdoor clothing, including a jacket, hat, and scarf. Only school-branded PE gear should be worn.

After the ice-skating session, students will visit the Marina Market from 12:20pm to 1:20pm. They should bring money for food or drinks, or a packed lunch if preferred. Teachers will provide a specific time and meeting location once students have finished their lunch. Students must remain inside the Marina Market at all times.

If your child has any medical conditions or food allergies, please notify the Year Head immediately using the email provided below.

Students who did not sign up for the ice-skating trip will have regular classes and are expected to attend school as normal.

As the activity was booked and paid for based on the original number of students who expressed interest, no additional students can be accommodated, and refunds cannot be issued. Any outstanding money must be paid into the school office by Friday, November 28th failure to pay the full amount will mean your child will not be permitted to attend.

Students will finish school as normal at 3:45pm on Tuesday, December 2nd.

If you need to contact your child’s Year Head, please contact via e-mail, via V-mail on VSWare or phone the school directly.

Thanking you for your cooperation.
