The History Club had the privilege of meeting a former Mon Boy the Lord Mayor Cllr Tony Fitzgerald in the City Hall. The Lord Mayor greeted the Club and as well as standing for photo’s and answering questions gave the boys a fantastic insight into the History of the office of Lord Mayor and even made sure the boys got some souvenirs from their visit. The boys were also treated to a tour of the Crawford Art Gallery on the work of George Victor du Noyer. The Club and their teachers Mr. Ryan and Mr. Lynch would like to thank the Lord Mayor and the Crawford for their hospitality and for what was a very enjoyable afternoon
