As a supporter of Belong To and a proud holder of the LGBTQ+ QMark, North Monastery Co-educational Secondary School is delighted to mark Stand Up Awareness Week 2025. This nationwide initiative is dedicated to tackling anti-LGBTQ+ bullying.
During this week in your school community we will work towards:
- Increasing friendship and support of LGBTQ+ students by other students.
- Increasing awareness of LGBTQ+ students among other students, teachers, principals and others in the school-wide community.
- Increasing respect for diversity and LGBTQ+ identities.
- Increasing the likelihood that LGBTQ+ students will report bullying.
A number of initiatives will take part across our school community. Students who wish to participate are very welcome.
