ParentPlus are delighted to announce a leading panel of speakers for our FREE ADHD Launch Seminar on 20th October from 10 am.They are pleased to have Dr Eileen Brosnan, Head of Implementation, Parents Plus introducing The Parents Plus ADHD Children’s programme followed by some background on the development of Ireland’s first ADHD training programme for frontline professionals by Prof John Sharry, Clinical Director and Co-Author.  

Grainne Hampson, Speech and Language Therapist and Co-Author of the programme will introduce us to the new content in the programme. 

This will be followed by Una O’Brien, Speech and language therapist who has delivered the programme via ADHD Ireland and Lisa Whitlock, Lead Coordinator of Parent Support Team Gloucester – who has delivered this programme via Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) giving their experience of what it is like to facilitate the programme.

 

 

 

We are privileged to then be able to share with you a discussion around ADHD and the family, with two parents raising a child with ADHD followed by a panel and Q&A with four parents who attended the pilot groups and what this was like.
